We headed over to Central Jersey for a pool party at Matt's boss' house. He has an amazing backyard and the pool was the place to be! Matt and Jack stayed in the pool for quite a while and Max even ventured into the pool to dip his paws!

Swimming, Swimming in the Swimming Pool

Jack turned 7 months old on August 18th! He is now officially army crawling, into everything, plays with Max (sort of) and loves to eat anything I put in his mouth...or he puts in his mouth! This is such a fun age, but definitely has Matt and I rethinking our picture frames that Jack can grab, how to hide Max's dog food, and how to attach a swifter mop on his belly so he can clean my floors?!?!?

Outer Banks Vacation
We just got back from a week in the Outer Banks with my extended family. It was such an amazing week, in a fabulous house and lots of laughs and yummy food! Jack was definitely a bit hit! With 26 people in one house I was a bit nervous that Jack would put a twist on everyone trying to relax and unwind on their vacation. But...Jack was a pleasant and happy boy all week long. He is definitely going to be in for a shock when it is just me, him and Max tomorrow morning!!

5 months old
Where has the time gone??? Right now, Jack likes to laugh, smile, eat oatmeal, applesauce, and carrots. He's not so sure about green beans! Jack also loves to pet Max, can almost sit up on his own and has slept through the night for almost a week straight!!!
