Hi Em and Matt. I thought you might be interested in what a friend of mine wrote me about Jack. Attaching the pic your mom took of Jack in the car seat wearing his floppy hat I'd written to her that "I recently spent some time on the east coast where I had the pleasure of meeting my grandnephew Jack Mason. He is the first of the next generation in our family. Mason is his middle name but I like using both. Together they have a certain tough grandeur. Attached is his pic." She wrote back, "Jack Mason is adorable. With that name he can only grow up to be one thing: a private eye."
She's right of course. When I first heard the name Jack Mason I thought it sounded like the name of a boxer but now that she’s mentioned it, it does sound even more like the MGM name of a private detective. Jack Mason, P.I.
